A few things to know.

Will I receive an immediate confirmation?

Yes. Verify your email with a short code, then confirm your reservation. We check availability again and show your booking reference immediately once your stay is saved. You pay at the property. If the confirmation email is delayed, keep the reference shown here.

How long can I stay?

All four room types have a minimum stay of three nights. We do not offer day-use stays. Stay seven nights or more and enjoy 20% off your entire stay, applied automatically when you book directly on this website. All taxes and charges are included. For stays of a month or longer, contact our team to discuss your plans.

Do I need to pay online?

Pay at the property in cash (Nepali rupees or US dollars) or by Visa or Mastercard. No online payment or card details are required. For payment in Nepali rupees, we convert your USD total using Nepal Rastra Bank’s published USD buying rate on the day you pay (Kathmandu date), or the latest published rate if that day’s rate is not yet available. We add no surcharge for card payments. Prices are quoted in USD and include all taxes and charges.

What time can I arrive and depart?

Check-in from 11 AM; check-out by 1 PM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged on request, subject to availability. All times are local to Kathmandu. Please share your expected arrival and departure times with our team.

What are the house rules?

Smoking is allowed on balconies only. Pets, parties and events are not permitted. Please present a valid government-issued ID at check-in.

Can you arrange an airport transfer?

Airport pick-up or drop-off is USD 20 each way. Pay at the property. Contact our team to arrange your transfer. This optional service is charged separately from your room.

What if my plans change?

If your plans change, please let us know at least three days before arrival so we can make the room available again. We do not charge cancellation or no-show fees.

If you have not arrived by the end of your scheduled check-in day (Kathmandu time), your reservation will be cancelled without charge.

LUMINOUS APARTMENTS & SUITES

Your booking information.

We ask for your name, email, phone number, optional country of residence and stay details to arrange your reservation and contact you about your visit. Do not include card details, identification documents or other sensitive information in your notes.

If you request an airport transfer, we also store your flight details, luggage count and transfer notes to arrange transport. We share necessary journey details with the Luminous representative arranging your journey.

We use an email code and a Cloudflare security check to help prevent automated bookings. Booking emails are also copied to the Luminous team. This tab stores a temporary booking-session identifier so you can recover an interrupted confirmation.

Our website runs on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Resend delivers reservation emails. Your reservation records are held in a protected database, with encrypted backups also kept in our private Google Drive. Hosting and security providers may process technical connection and usage information.

Reservation records, email copies and backups are retained for property operations and record-keeping. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion period. Please contact us to request access to or correction of your information, or to discuss deletion.
